Prepped: Meal Prep Software – Version 5 Release Video Transcript

[0:00] Hey, everybody.
We are super proud to announce Prepped version five. We have a ton of stuff that we’ve been working on, and I’m gonna go through a bunch of it really quickly, then add more to this video later.

[0:13] One of the cool features we have is the Label Center that’s coming out.
We just added some updates: gutters, margins. You can now make your macros inline if you want to save space, add ingredients, basically customize it however you want, and print it.

[0:20] We also made some really cool updates to the Orders Page:

• Search Bar: We have a search bar at the top.
• Quick Filter Buttons: New quick filter buttons to filter by times.
• Actions Button: New options in the actions button at the top of the modal.
  • You can print a pick ticket.
  • Bill the card.
  • Refund the card.
  • Reorder the order and step through the entire order life cycle, even recycle the whole order if needed.
• Reschedule: After reordering, you can reschedule it in version five.
• Bulk Actions: The same bulk action cleanup is over here. You have label options, and we can do bulk status updates.
• Status Sequence: Clearer messaging around the status sequence, showing what can be updated and what can’t. For instance, some paid orders can’t be marked as completed.

[1:22] Another addition to the system is a link to the Prepped Order Status Sequence with documentation that shows you swim lanes for orders, different order types, cadences, and other great resources.

[1:36] In version five, we’ve added the ability to filter your order statuses by Payment Failed and Pending Driver Statuses.
There’s also a Paid Filter now, so you can see what’s been paid for, what hasn’t, what’s been refunded, etc.

[1:54] In the Settings > Basics Tab, we have a whole bunch of new features:

• Feature Flagged Reviews: Reviews are a double-edged sword. The choice is yours; may the force be with you.
• Goal Center Flag: Allows you to target a fitness market segment. Classical culinary operators can turn this off if they prefer.
• Cutoffs: If you have a client that insists on ordering after the cutoff, here’s the solution: globally turn off ordering with the flick of a switch. You can temporarily disable the mobile app, and when users open it, a banner will pop up saying, “Hey, for a faster, more convenient checkout, use the website. The app is under development right now.”

[2:43] We are discontinuing Tilled (or “Prepped Payments”) and announcing Finix.
All those getting forced off Tilled: we’re going to give you a lifelong discount, so hit us up for that. We’re going to take care of you.

[2:56] Another super useful feature is the ability to impersonate your customers:

• Go to the customers page, and on the far right, there’s a little icon under “impersonate.” Click that, and you’ll automatically log in as the customer.

[3:10] On the Regions Page, we now have the ability to generate regions:

• Generate a nice sphere for a region.
• Vendors can now draw their own operating zones.
• Vendors can also put in their tax rates, shipping rates, correct time zone, and add as many new regions as they want.
• We’ve empowered vendors to scale on their own, without needing our setup.

[3:42] Additionally, you can now input your credit card for transferring existing gift card liability.
For example: “Hey, I’m sorry there was a hair in your food. How about we give you a $20 store credit for your next order?” This way, you can get another sale, keep the customer happy, and avoid a chargeback or bad Google review.

[4:18] Finally, vendors now have the ability to set their own delivery hours and pickup hours separately.
